AI is writing emails, designing presentations, analyzing data, suggesting headlines, correcting grammar, and developing strategies. All at an astonishing speed. And so the inevitable question arises:
Is it going to replace us?
At mb&l, we have a clear vision: AI is not here to replace consultants, salespeople, or strategists. It’s here to work for them.
Think of it this way: a tireless junior team
Imagine having a brilliant junior team. It doesn’t get tired, doesn’t sleep, works fast, has access to an infinite library of information, and is always available. But it’s also a team with no judgment, no real-world experience, and no deep understanding of the client.
It needs guidance. Your guidance.
Because AI can draft, summarize, classify, simulate scenarios, and even make suggestions. But it can’t decide which path is right, understand the emotional complexity of a business relationship, or anticipate the human consequences of a decision. That’s where you come in.
Your role changes, it doesn’t disappear
What’s changing is the nature of the work. From executing tasks, we move to directing them. From operating, to thinking with greater context. From doing with our hands, to doing with our minds.
And that change can be a threat… or a huge opportunity. If you understand how to work with AI, you’ll be able to do more, better, and faster. You’ll be able to scale your capabilities without losing your human touch.
At MB&L, we’re already doing it
We use AI to prepare preliminary diagnostics, generate proposal variations, speed up documentation processes, simulate client questions, tailor training to each salesperson’s profile, analyze historical data, and more. But we are still the ones making the key decisions. And we’re still the ones attending client meetings. Their body language tells us a lot, our experience adds a lot, and AI doesn’t have that… at least, not yet…
Because AI can help you find the way. But you’re still the one who chooses where to go.
So, how should we use AI? Well, that’s another chapter. Let’s start by losing the fear and clearly understanding that it’s here to help us.
If AI concerns you, or if you’re not sure how to make the most of it, don’t hesitate to call us. We’d be happy to help.
